Kind Donations at the Oswego Country Market (Day 2)

Hey everyone! It is me Abby again and I just wanted to inform you of all the very kind donations we have been receiving from the farmers market, especially from Sunset Growers Greenhouse in Minooka Illinois!

A big thanks goes to Mr. Jack Popek who works at Sunset Growers Greenhouse, he was so very generous to give us some of his extra prairie plants which we have already used to make a small scale rain garden! If you look down to the image below you can see his tent, business card, and all the plants he gave us! He was so nice to provide us with these materials. Sunset Growers Greenhouse is a plant nursery where they grow plants and sell them to others at places like the farmers market, or have customers come to them. This is similar to other places like the Growing Place, but Sunset Growers is different as it is a great family owned company which such kind people like Mr. Jack Popek! With their kind donation we were able to make a small garden!

Other than the kind donation from Sunset Growers greenhouse, many others who came the farmers market and listened to our presentation were willing to give us donations! We actually raised money which was a wonderful surprise and our team is so very grateful for all of this! You all have been so supportive of this project and gave us so much support!
