OUR CAUSE: REDUCE STORMWATER DRAINOFF & REPAIR OUR PRAIRIE HABITAT
The reason we started Prairie Protectors was to make sure we could plant enough prairie plants to help stop the excess rain water from causing flooding and destroying the ecosystem.

Our Action Plan
You can make a difference by supporting our work.

Step 1: When possible,
we will host a kick-off event for families to learn about environmental issues.

Step 2: Hand out seed kits that come with a small manual explaining how kids can start a rain garden in their own yards.
Step 3: Create a rain garden display for the City of Aurora, develop a plan for area schools to plant a rain garden, encourage family rain gardens with starter kits for kids to plant and maintain.
